  2. Badlands:are abrupt areas “V”shaped ruts which channel the water of streams and affect material which are subject to erosion • These badlands are in Almeria (Spain) • Western films are filmed there

  3. Gorges. • These gorges are in Catalonia. • Gorges are is a deep valley between cliffs often carved from the landscape by a river.

  4. Hoces del Duratón • This is a very important Landscape in our community They are located in Sepúlveda A village about 70km from Segovia

  5. Ravines • These ravines are in Granada. • Ravines area very small valley, which is often the product of streamcutting erosion.

  6. Alluvial plains • An alluvial plain is an extensive deposit of materials which fill the bottoms of valleys . • This one is located on Guadalquivir zone.

  7. Deltas. • This delta is in Tarragona and is called delta del Ebro. • Delta is a landform where the mouth of a river flows into an ocean or sea .

  8. Cliffs • a cliff or bluff is a significant vertical, or near vertical, rock exposure • Cliffs are categorized as erosion landforms due to erosion and weathering. • This cliff is in Galicia

  9. Beaches • Beaches are formed in the interior of bays between two rocky outcrops or on coastlines where the waves lose their force. • There are two types of beaches : rocky and sandy • This are spanish beaches.

  10. Coastal pools • A coastal pool is a costal lake close of by a sandbank. • This one is called La Albufera and it is in Valencia

  11. Land tied islands • Island joined to the coast with a nearby outcrop . • This example in La Concha beach

  12. Dunes or ergs • Dunes are accumulations of sand which move across the ground as a result of the wind. • This dunes are in Fuerteventura.

  13. Glaciers • A glacier is a large, slow moving river of ice, formed from compacted layers of snow, that slowly deforms and flows in response to gravity . Glacier ice is the largest reservoir of fresh water on Earth. This glacier is Aneto mountain.
