  2. AboutUs Chateau Beaumont has been operating successfully as a residential centre for the past 15 years. The Chateau is set amongst 10 acres of grounds with outstanding views of the Mayenne countryside. Our native English teachers are also bi -lingual (clever them) We can occupy up to 130 students with ease. We have a wide variety of outdoor activities to enjoy amongst our acres of land.

  3. Why choose Chateau Beaumont? We are a small unique centre with only 2 or 3 schools on site at one time, meaning that everyone gets to know one another and enhance the experience. You are assigned a group leader/leaders who stays with you through out your trip. • Your holiday includes: • Pre-planning with daily itineraries • Insurance • Group passports, • Parent guides • Travel arrangements We have permanent staff all year round - you may get to see some familiar faces on your return visit.

  4. Safety Safety is one of our top priorities. Our instructors hold qualifications in:GNAS, BUC, BFA ,First Aid and are CRB checked. Activity appropriate equipment is provided for every student, including harnesses and helmets, and boots and buoyancy aids where necessary. Equipment is checked before and after every use, and records kept. We have an excellent health and safety track record. For each activity, full instructions are given before they begin.

  5. Quality Badges We have a range of quality badges: Our group holds the quality badge for Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC) We are a full member of BAPA (British Activity Providers Association) AAIAC Adventuremark TTA Certificate (Travel Trust Association)

  6. Activities Our wide range includes: Zip Wire Climbing Aeroball Archery Fencing Nightline Swimming Initiative

  7. Packages Chateau Beaumont is not your typical school trip; take a look at the variety on offer: Action Adventure – on site activities with local excursion an plenty of French practice. Le Grande Weekend – Similar to the above put for a longer. (More time to explore) Reportage – Either of the above but with extra French practice with a native French speaker as your Group Leader. Chateau Paris, Disney – Extend your trip to a visit to Disneyland and overnight stay in Paris and time for lots of sightseeing. Paris or Disney Day – Simply add to any of the first three packages.

  8. Excursions • We have a wide variety of excursions for you to choose from including: • Goat’s Cheese Farm • Fougéres Castle • Refuge de l’Arche (Animal Refuge) • Bayeux Tapestry • Chocolate Factory • 360 Cinema • Laval Market • Le Mont St Michel

  9. Evening Entertainment Students get the opportunity to put their creativity to the test in the Talent Show. Dance the night away (until 10pm) at the disco – teacher’s often join in too. French Night is always a favourite – don’t forget your beret. Win 1 Million Euros with ‘Who wants to be a millionaire’. Test your French knowledge against the other school on quiz night

  10. Accommodation Students sleep inside one of our three dormitory blocks which all include private bathrooms. All rooms are lockable from outside but have an emergency push bar for emergencies. Teacher’s stay in adjacent rooms. Students are free to explore the Chateauduring their stay.

  11. TeacherAccommodation All rooms are en suite Tea and coffee are provided in your room with refills. The Teacher’s common room is a relaxed environment with tea, coffee, fridge, plush leather settees and a TV. Wine is also provided at dinner and a separate your own table away from your students. We also have a wide variety of books to read if you so desire.

  12. Food Food is freshly prepared daily by our experienced kitchen team. Students are encouraged to try traditional French dishes; especially on French Night, where they get the chance to eat snails and frogs legs! On excursion days, snacks and packed lunches are provided. There is always a vegetarian option available and our cooks love to make dessert.
