  8. SO WHAT DO THESE STATS REALLY MEAN? Red Bluff has one of the fastest growing crime rates in the United States. Since 2011, violent crimes have increased 41% and property crimes have increased 30%. The violent crime rate is 250% higher and property crime 200% higher than national averages (2013 Uniform Crime Data). In 2013, Red Bluff averaged 145 crimes per sq. mile which is over three times higher than the national median of 39.3 crimes per/sq. mile.
