  4. Conjugation of Verb Forms:To conjugate means to changeWhen we conjugate a verb, we change the verb form for each possible subject. This usually happens in a chart.It sounds a lot more confusing than it actually is!

It can be regular or irregular. • Write the infinitive at the top of your chart. • Decide what tense the verb should be conjugated in. • Trade with a partner and fill in their chart. • Conjugate the verb in the _________ tense. • When your partner returns your paper, check their answers!

  9. Word Usage- lay and lie • lay = to put or place something down • Please lay the charts on the table. • lie = to recline or be in position • Layers of dust lie on the moon.
