Writing Your Letter • Now that you have read a few letters home, experienced war from a poetic stand point, and learned more about the horrors of fighting in the trenches you will write a letter home pretending that you have fought in the trenches of World War One. • You will need to include in your letters evidence of your knowledge of the trenches.

  6. Details • Letter needs to be addressed to a person • Needs to include several references to trench life • Needs to be one page and typed- in a letter format • Look at other letters for help- due the next day that we have class.
