Commemoration of the Freedom Convoy: Honoring the Past and Future (1944-2004)

Join us in remembering the Convoy of Freedom from September 5, 1944, to September 5, 2004. This special event honors the bravery of all who contributed, especially the GI’s and the 30th Division of the U.S. Army. With heartfelt gratitude, we recognize the enduring friendship between France and the United States. On September 4, 2004, the “Convoi de la Liberté” departed from the village of Fins, marking a significant moment with the Mayor of Fins and War Veterans. Let us never forget their sacrifice and strive for continued unity.
