  6. When and While • When + simple past • I was watching TV when she called. • While + past continuous • While I was watching TV, she called.

  8. Past Continuous • #2 Specific Time as an Interruption • Example: Last night at 7pm I was playing computer games. • At midnight we were still drinking at the festival.

  9. For each of these questions include 3+ FUQ’s • What were you doing at 10 p.m. yesterday evening? • What were you doing yesterday afternoon? • What was your friend doing the last time you called them? • What were you doing before you went to sleep? • Were you exercising last night?
