This study conducted by Prof. J.M. Forbes at the University of Leeds investigates the effects of Addarome Cattle on feed intake and eating speed in cattle. Notably, the inclusion of rapeseed in feed mixtures was explored for its potential impact on consumption time and feed intake during the first minute. Findings indicate that Addarome Cattle enhances feed palatability, increases consumption amounts and speed, and effectively masks unpalatable raw materials, providing flexibility in feed formulation and a stable manufacturing process.

Addarome Cattle Cattle Feeding Trials Prof J.M. Forbes University of Leeds, England
The effect of the inclusion of Addarome Cattle on feed intake and speed of eating
The effect of Rapeseed inclusion on time taken to consume 1kg of Feed
The effect of Rapeseed inclusion on feed intake in First Minute
Improvement of time taken to consume 1kg of Feed with Addarome Cattle
Improvement of feed intake in First Minute with Addarome Cattle
Trial Conclusions • Improved palatability of cattle rations. • Significant increase in the amount of feed consumed. • Significant increase in the speed at which feed is consumed. • Effective mask of unpalatable raw materials.
Addarome Cattle • Allows greater flexibility in feed formulation. • Peace of mind when raw materials vary. • Simple to use. • Stable in manufacture process. • Inclusion Level – • Feed -150g to 200 tonne • Minerals - up to 1000g/tonne
