S. 2008/2009PROGETTO COMENIUS “PROTEGGIAMO LA NOSTRA ACQUA”- Il controllo dell’acqua -Le contrôle de l’eau--The control of the water- TAV.9 - Corsi A e D CONCLUSIONI In media ogni anno piovono in Sicilia 7 miliardi di metri cubi d'acqua, quasi il triplo del fabbisogno calcolato in 2 miliardi e 482 milioni di metri cubi (1 miliardo e 325 milioni per l'irrigazione dei campi, 727 milioni per dissetare i centri abitati, 430 milioni per il fabbisogno industriale). Eppure la Sicilia soffre la sete, e in alcune zone, per esempio nelle province di Agrigento, Caltanissetta, ed Enna, è emergenza permanente. Questo non è solo il frutto del controllo mafioso sull' acqua ma più in generale di una politica delle opere pubbliche, all' insegna dello spreco e del clientelismo, che ha origine storiche lontanissime e spiega pure tanti atteggiamenti di mancanza di indignazione e di lotta per il triste problema. CONCLUSIONS En moyenne chaque année en Sicile tombent 7 milliards de mètres cubes d'eau, presque le triple de l'exigence calculée en 2 milliards et 482 millions de mètres cubes (1 milliard et 325 millions pour l'irrigation des champs, 727 millions pour donner de l’eau aux centres habités, 430 million pour l'exigence industrielle). Donc la Sicile souffre la soif, et en plus dans les provinces de Agrigente, Caltanissetta et Enna, il y a une urgence permanente. Ce n’est pas seulement le fruit du contrôle “mafioso” sur l’eau mais en général le résultat d'une politique des travaux publics, du gaspillement, du “clientelismo” qui a son origine historique anciennes et explique aussi tant d'attitudes de manque d'indignation et de lutte pour le triste problème. CONCLUSIONS In Sicily the rain fall averages 7 milliards cubic meters a year quite the triple of the need that is 2 milliards and 482 millions of cubic meters (1 milliard and 325 millions to countries irrigation, 7727 millions to quench built-up areas, 430 millions to the industrial need). And yet Sicily suffers thirst and, in some zones, for instance the provinces of Agrigento, Caltanissetta and Enna, it is a permanent emergency. This isn’t not only the result of mafia control over water, but, generally, of a public policy, in the name of waste and clientelism, that has got remote historical sources and explains many habits of lacking indignation and foughtnig against this bad problem.
