This paper discusses the findings of 14 studies regarding knowledge generation and sharing among Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs), presented during the ECG meeting on October 24, 2013. It outlines significant progress in knowledge sharing initiatives, notably the emergence of the knowledge bank concept in the 1990s and the subsequent increase in funding for Knowledge Partnership Services (KPS). By analyzing the current landscape, this evaluation highlights key areas of advancement and suggests pathways for future improvements in MDB knowledge practices.
