Routine Inspections & Care • Check location and condition at beginning of each shift • Inventory System and Shake Container once a Week • Incorporate System use in monthly training exercises (Eductor in OFF position) • Clean and Dry Nozzle and hose system monthly • Full nozzle breakdown should only be done by qualified personnel

  14. Clean-up After Use • It is EXTREMELY important to thoroughly clean and remove ALL concentrate and gel from the Nozzle, Supply Line, and Pick-up Tube • Water and/or Mineral oil works extremely well to clean and flush all equipment parts • All parts must be clean and dry • An air hose may be used to blow out and thoroughly dry all parts

Troubleshooting • Failure to Educt • Check Water Flow (20 GPM) • Check Water Pressure (75-100 psi at nozzle) • Check Eductor Selection (OFF, 1%, 2%) • Check Supply Line, Pick-up Tube and connections for tightness and seal • Select FLUSH position for 1 to 3 seconds • Breakdown system, check for clogging, debris, or dried concentrate in lines/orifices

DO’S AND DON’T • DO KEEP NOZZLE, EDUCTOR, AND PICK-UP TUBE CLEAN AND DRY • DOCOMPLETELY CLEAN SYSTEM AFTER EACH USE • DO NOT ALLOW WATER TO ENTER CONCENTRATE CONTAINER • DO NOTPREMIX CONCENTRATE IN NON Thermo-Gel®SYSTEMS • DO NOTPUT Thermo-Gel® INTO EXISTING ENGINE FOAM TANK SYSTEMS • DO NOT MIX Thermo-Gel® AND FOAM APPLICATOR HARDWARE (FOAM AND GEL ARE NOT COMPATIBLE)
