In my recent school project with the Roots and Shoots program, I explored ways to make our school greener by actively participating in planting sunflowers and assisting in organizing a fundraiser. Through this experience, I demonstrated risk-taking and knowledge by volunteering for new initiatives, planning games, and contributing to our community's environmental efforts. Although I couldn't attend the fundraiser due to unforeseen circumstances, I believe the project fostered a greater appreciation for nature and community involvement. Overall, joining this initiative was a rewarding choice that combined learning with fun.

What did I do for the project • I helped in the sunflower program by planting and watering the flowers and also I helped dig for a few days and I also helped out when we were planning for the fundraiser
Learner profile • I showed risk taker because I was not afraid to try a new community and service and that I volunteered for the project and I also showed knowledge by thinking and planning the games and fundraiser but I couldn't’t go to the actual fundraiser because I was at the nurse
What do I feel about the project • I think that it Is a good way to make the school more green but it needs to have more verities of plants to appeal to a wider audience
