MDCB-WIS Interactions
This workgroup aims to guide the effective design of water quality monitoring programs by connecting management questions with monitoring efforts. It promotes strategies for managing, accessing, and exchanging water quality data while ensuring comparable methods for data analysis and interpretation. Areas of focus include recommending quality assurance measures, integrating data assessment methods, and developing a Monitoring Framework Expert System. This system will assist water quality management program designers in adhering to best practices, including compliance with essential monitoring program elements.
