  2. PS/SPD FEB Production Status • Production & Tests closely finished: 106 PS/SPD FEB produced / 94 Valid / 100 required !! A side • 5 last boards in production but troubles expected • 9 M20 component missing • Go to pile of failed boards (12) • Repair • Extract M20 Vacations Run out components C side 23/07 23/08 26/07 16/07 22/06 06/07 29/08 11/07 Pres.

FE Installation Status • C side fully equipped, cabled & tested: All FE OK - RJ45 signal cables (VFEFE ): 3 dead contacts @ FE side within 4 weeks in August / But …FE crates not ‘closed’ @ moment • A side installation ongoing … - 3 crates close to ready: PRS4, PRS5 & PRS6 - PRS7: more FE boards required & No connectors for power cables A side installation status

RJ45 RJ45 RJ45 RJ45 VFE ‘POWER’ ISSUES • 7 out of 50 C side VFE no more working in July: They were left functional in may / but some operations in boxes meanwhile … - All located in bottom boxes - Same symptoms: identical half channels / as if no CLOCK - Re-plugging power cables can solve the problem / but power consumption measured OK … -  impedance measured on VFE clock input whenever measured … • 2 more C side VFE ‘lost’ during August: Left functional in July / Located in top boxes /  impedance measured on clock / no operations in these boxes !   5. PS LEDs Flashed on C side • PS LEDs Flashed on almost all C side: No light in Inner part ? HOT No Light Seen ? COLD A side C side

  6. Dead Channels ? • Track Dead Channels with a neighbouring criteria: - Neglect PMT gain dispersion: ~50 % effect - Compare to cross talk level: ~10 % / But no clear border 20% x-talk on Q To do: compare to Evgueni measurements 27 / 2496 channels 13 / 39 FEBs Border ?

Conclusion • PS/SPD FEB production almost finished : C side fully equipped & tested A side following by the end of the month Issue with VFE clock input: fragile on timescale ~month Lock & further monitor VFE  FE RJ45 signal link • C side almost fully flashed with LEDs Future: look @ t0, a / procedure to adjust FEBs phasers
