  3. 2018 PB Work Overview • Review progress and update of 2017-2019 Work Programme • Support Engagement Priorities through Subgroups for SDGs, Paris Agreement and Sendai Framework • Regional GEOs coordination • Plan for development of the 2020-2022 GEO Work Programme

Regional GEOs • Plenary document for Regional GEO based on work of PB and its Regional GEOSS subgroup (with GEO Secretariat). • Regional GEOs should remain visible in the GEO Work Programme (GWP), even though no longer under PB oversight. • Data and information infrastructures developed by Regional GEOs must abide by GEO principles.

  5. Plan for Development of the 2020-2022 GWP • Tight timeframe, but expect much continuity from 2017-2019. • Close coordination needed with 2019 Ministerial planning & Strategy for a Results-oriented GEOSS. • Activities in the 2017-2019 GWP will need to prepare new Implementation Plans – a new template will be developed. • Support to GEO Engagement Priorities will be highlighted.
