  2. In the rainforests of Gabon, there are over 8,000 plant species, 600 different types of bird and 20 species of primate, but all of that will be gone with the sound a of a woodcutter. Gabon, Africa and its rainforests create a beautiful and flourishing nation, but many people are in fear that it will not stay like this for long due to the fact that businesses are chopping down trees for timber, but thankfully Marc Ona Essangui, the one man trying to save the forests, has already begun his own ecological organization called Brainforest, who will fight to keep Gabon at its prime.
