EMIT SIM What is EMIT SIM? • EMIT SIM (Smart Ionization & Monitoring) is software designed to monitor and record the activity of EMIT’s line of Smart Products • This list of products includes: • Zero Volt Ionizer (Bench Top and Overhead) • Zero Volt Monitor (Dual Operator and Workstation) • Zero Volt Monitor Solo (Single Operator and Workstation) • Dual Programmable Monitor • Ultra Low Voltage Monitor • EMIT SIM uses serial number tracking to manage re-calibration schedules for each device • All monitoring is done via a 2 wire serial RS-485 daisy-chained bus. Total cable length of each loop must be less than 1,200 meters (~4,000 feet). • Supported Operating Systems: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7(32-bit and 64-bit) emit.descoindustries.com

EMIT SIM Poll and Record Device Activity • EMIT SIM polls and records the status of all EMIT smart devices via RS-485 technology • Use the “Current Fault” filter to display when failures occur at a workstation • Track the device type, its operator and location, type of failure, date, time and duration emit.descoindustries.com
