Biome-BGC Projects Database and behind

The Biome-BGC project (BioVel workshop, Budapest, June 2013) focuses on ecological research utilizing the Biome-BGC model. This workshop highlighted the necessity of a well-structured database for storing, sharing, and reusing input data, results, and metadata. The portal enables controlled access to a variety of services such as web services, Taverna workflows, and a grid portal. This ensures efficient management of climate-related variables like CO2 and nitrogen deposition, facilitating advanced ecological modeling and research through established web resources.
