  2. Why are we dying t-shirts? Dying T-shirts accomplishes three main objectives: • Review of the scientific process • Ability to follow Directions • Safety in the lab environment

  3. Step 1: Twisting the Shirt to Make the Design

  4. Step 2: Pre-soak solution(allows the fibers to absorb the dye )

  5. More great kids on Step 2!

  6. Step 3: Let’s add our colors!
