Demo 1 – Setup • Each team gets 2 PTAs (1 sponsored & 1 non-sponsored) • PTAs are masked • Assigned logons and passwords are on your handout • Work in teams of 2 , on one computer – taking turns • Logon to CMS • URL = https://of2trn.stanford.edu:8058/OA_HTML/AppsLocalLogin.jsp • Resource: Use How-To screen on CMS website, if needed Activity Setup and Logon

  11. Demo 2: • Search (simple or advanced) for your assigned PTAs in the setup tab • Set up 2 Nicknames (Consider naming conventions in your department) • Set up a Favorite (Cluster in meaningful names for reports) • Resource: Use Step-by-Step if needed Creating PTA Nicknames & My Favorites

Demo 7: • Search (simple or advanced) for your assigned PTAs in the People tab • Select your Employee Assignment No. • Create a recurring forecasted other supplemental for $5000.00 for your employee from 01-Aug-2011 through 15-Aug-2011 (using expenditure type 51910) • Consider: • What types of other compensation might you forecast? When would you forecast these amounts? Forecasting Other Compensation – People Tab
