Located in the northern part of the continent, it extends from the Atlantic to the Pacific and northward into the Arctic Ocean. • Area: 9 984 670 km² • Population: 34 721 000 • Capital: Otawa • The biggest city: Toronto • Establishment: Federal parliamentary constitotional monarchy

  3. Ottawa • Ottawa is the capital of Canada, while Canada's fourth largest city. Located in the eastern part of the province of Ontario in the Ottawa Valley. Ottawa has a total population of 808,391.

  4. Toronto • Toronto is the provincial capital of Ontario and the largest city of Canada. Population exceeds 2.5 million. It lies on the northern shore of Lake Ontario.
