That if you got stuck in the mud those people became instant targets. Opposing soldiers would start firing at them because they would have to get out to get their vehicle out.

  3. The Urfaust This is one of the many things that would go wrong with armored vehicles. They would be super heavy so if they were on wet dirt roads, drivers would often find them selves in the ditch.

It needed 3-4 men to operate.

It made it easier to cross no mans land because instead of having wheels, it had 2 front wheels and tracks. It had two 7.62 mm. turrets, it took 5 people to operate.

  16. Half tracks were more reliable because they were harder to get stuck due to more moving surface area than on regular wheels. They were also more reliable cause medics would use them to evacuate wounded soldiers.

Half tracks were the safest and most reliable way to travel if you didn’t want to take a plane or risk getting stuck in the mud with a regular armored vehicles.

Due to one pivot point in the rear assembly, the whole track could pivot to keep you from getting stuck.
