About Indian ASTR • Association of Engineers • Members – Specialist, Experts in Structural Rehabilitation • Some are Pioneers of Structural Rehabilitation • Engaged in Govt. bodies, R&D, Consultancy,Educational Institute, Civil Industry • Strength – more than 70 members ( Increasing day by day )

ASTR Objective • To create & to sustain the atmosphere of correct engineering practice • To establish & maintain a National Directory for persons concerned with or interested in Structural Rehabilitation • Evolve a unified Standard Code of practice in Structural Rehabilitation Engg. For Assurance of Quality based Professional Engg. Services • To Participate/Organise National/International Conferences on Structural Rehabilitation or related topics/themes

ASTR Objective • To accept grants, donations or gifts or money for furtherance of the objects of the Association. • To established and maintain a library to collect literature and other materials relating to the principles and practice of structural rehabilitation. • To depute any member of the association to receive advanced training in structural rehabilitation in any place in india and abroad. • To established and manage Educational, social and other institution of the welfare and betterment of the member.

  5. ASTR Objective • To help monetary or otherwise the person affected from natural calamites viz. earthquake, floods,drought,etc. • To do all such other things as are incidental or conductive to the attainment of the above objects or any of them.
