  2. Same Name, New Look • Applicants- http://jobs.nku.edu • Hiring Officials – http://jobs.nku.edu/hr • Post positions for faculty, staff and students

  3. Business Process Changes • Vacancy Management process incorporated within the posting process • No more paper – all the vacancy management and budget information within the posting • All postings that are to HR by Friday will be sent to the VP’s the next week • VP’s have till Friday of that week to voice concerns. If the issues are resolved then postings will be released that Friday afternoon.

  4. Interview Process • Candidates chosen for interview need to be changed to the status of “chosen for interview” • When all candidates chosen for interview are decided the posting is moved to Affirmative Action for approval of the candidate pool • The interview process may begin/continue while the candidate pool is being reviewed

  5. Interview Process • When a final candidate is chosen the hiring official will complete a Hiring Proposal form which will be approved by the Dept. Head/Chair, Dean/AVP and VP/Provost • Director of Compensation will approve the proposed salary for staff.

  6. Hiring Process • Hiring Official will be notified that the Hiring Proposal form is approved and a contingent offer can be made • Hiring proposal form initiates the pre hire action after background check clear • Creates username earlier • Will help with electronic forms in the future

  7. System Set Up • Organizational Structure • Mirrors SAP • Position types • Faculty • Staff • Student • Hiring official vs. Hiring Manager • New system so no old postings available
