Earth • The diameter of Earth is 12,755 kilometers • The equator is about 40,074 kilometers • There are about 7 billion people living on Earth • 30 % is covered by land while 70% is covered by oceans • The temperature, weather and the atmosphere are just right for us and other living things to live on • The Earth has one moon called Luna

Jupiter -It is the largest planet in our solar system -Earth can fit into Jupiter more than 1000 times -There is more gravity on Jupiter than Earth -Jupiter’s red spot is called the Eye of Jupiter because of it’s shape -It’s a stormy planet and most of the storms seem to never end -You cannot step on Jupiter because it’s surface is gas

4. Saturn -It is the 2nd largest planet in our solar system -It is the gas made of hydrogen and helium -It spins so fast because it’s a lightweight planet -Saturn is not a perfectly round planet -It’s ring is 273,266 kilometers wide -The rings are extremely thin only less than one kilometer thick

5. Sun • -The Sun is a common yellow star • -The Sun was born in a big cloud and dust 5 billion years ago • It’s core burnt causing it to begin nuclear fusion • The Sun produces it’s own light,heat and energy
