  17. Treat each person and thing in this room with respect and dignity. GUIDELINE #4:

  18. Follow all procedures and policies outlined by the Choctawhatchee Student Handbook and the Okaloosa County policies. GUIDELINE #5:

  19. SPECIAL GUIDELINE: This is a “NO WHINING ZONE.” Everything I do is in your best interest, so please respect this guideline.

  24. -Check the board for work missed -Use the class computer to check www.mitchellnews.wikispaces.com Edmodo While You Were Out notebook Schedule a time to make up quizzes/tests *Unexcused absences may not make up tests. After any absence or unexcused absences

  25. Stand in front of class. Wait for everyone to be quiet. Begin speaking. Getting your attentionI will:

  26. MLA format for all papers. Place on all assignments. Paper Headings

  29. At the Beginning of Class Place papers in the side pocket of the lectern with the name facing out. At the End of Class Pass papers forward. When you receive the paper, place yours on top. Turning in papers

  30. PLEASE participate. You receive a participation grade based on your contributions. This is your classwork/homework grade. I’m interested in what you have to say. Questions and comments should be relevant to the current discussion. If your question is off topic, write it down and ask it later. Classroom Discussions

  31. Work on other unfinished ENGLISH assignments. Read your “choice” novel or teacher provided book/magazine. Work on and/or review vocabulary. Start on the assigned homework. What if I finish Classwork early?
