  2. Long Term Goals Adopt 21st century approaches to enhance students reading, writing , comprehension and language skills.

Short Term Goals • By the end of the month students will be able to:- • Introduce the concept of setting in a story. • Identify differences between play script writing format and stories. • Define adjectives, identify nouns and change them into adjectives. • Define verbs, state how adverbs are linked to verbs and identify adverbs and their impact on meaning. • Define and construct compound words. • Plan and write a character sketch. • Identify plots in stories and create story mountains for planning their stories.
