  7. Homosexuality in castingshows In Austria and Germany are many participants or jurors who stick by their homosexuality in casting shows. They are most times very liked by the population. The Austrians accept these people, what show the following examples:

  8. Germany‘snexttopmodel The juror Thomas Rath, who is also a famous fashion designer, is gay and everybody knows it. He has no problem with that and so also his fans haven`t. He seems to be friendly every day and is a real little teddy bear.

  9. Die Große Chance Christine Hödl is an Austrian singer, who won the casting show “Die große Chance”. She is lesbian, has a girlfriend and a daughter and sticks by that. The audience loves her voice and her self-made songs, so they didn`t mind of her sex and vote for her. She won the show and 100.000 €.

  10. Song Contest Tom Neuwirth has already took part as a gay singer in an Austrian casting show many years ago, but he was soon bowen out. A few years later, he participed again, but as a woman with a beard. He came in the final round, but did not win. Tom was then knowen as ”ConchitaWurst” and very popular in Austria. Next year he will sing at the Song Contest.
