  18. BARACK OBAMA INTERVIEW WITH RICK WARREN 2008 Rick Warren: “Define Marriage.” Barack Obama: “I believe that marriage is the union between a man and a woman. Now for me as a Christian -- for me as a Christian, it is also a sacred union. God is in the mix.”

  19. BARACK OBAMA 2012 “I’ve been going through an evolution on this issue….over the course of several years, as I talk to friends and family and neighbors. When I think about – members of my own staff who are incredibly committed, in monogamous relationships, same-sex relationships, who are raising kids together.

  20. BARACK OBAMA 2012 When I think about those soldiers or airmen or marines or – sailors who are about there fighting on my behalf and yet, feel constrained, even now that Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell is gone, because – they’re not able to commit themselves in a marriage.

  21. BARACK OBAMA 2012 At a certain point, I’ve just concluded that for me personally, it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same-sex couples should be able to get married.” http://www.equip.org/video/defending-marriage-dr-jay-richards-interview-part-1/

  22. WICKEDNESS IN DETAIL 1 COR 6:9b-10

  25. GEN 2:18 • The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him."

  26. GEN 2:22 • Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.

  27. GEN 2:24 • For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.

  28. MAT 19:4 • "Haven't you read," he replied, "that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,'

  29. MAT 19:5 • and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'?

  33. ROM 5:12 • Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned--

  34. LEV 18:22 • Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.

  35. LEV 20:13 • If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.

  36. QUOTE Read in context, the commands against same-sex relations in Leviticus 18 and 20 mesh perfectly with the moral order of creation presented in Genesis 1– 2, correctly interpreted by Jesus in Matthew 19: 4– 5. This indicates that Moses meant for the intentions of the men of Sodom to be viewed as flagrant violations of God’s created order, as can be seen from the way later biblical authors interpret Genesis 19. SBTS Press. God and the Gay Christian? (Kindle Locations 279-282). SBTS Press.

  37. ROM 1:26 • Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones.

  38. ROM 1:27 • In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

  39. 1 TIM 1:9 (NASB) • realizing the fact that law is not made for a righteous man, but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers

  40. 1 TIM 1:10 (NASB) • and immoral men and homosexuals and kidnappers and liars and perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound teaching,

  41. WAY OF DELIVERANCE 1 COR 6:11

  42. 1 COR 6:11 • And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
