  1. A Day to Remember! • One day Jesus said to his disciples, “Let’s cross to the other side of the lake.” • So they got into a boat and started out. As they sailed across, Jesus settled down for a nap.

  2. The Storm may sink the boat! • But soon a fierce storm came down on the lake. The boat was filling with water, and they were in real danger.

  3. Jesus wants us to have faith when storms hit! • The disciples went and woke him up, shouting, “Master, Master, we’re going to drown!” • Then he asked them, “Where is your faith?”

  4. Jesus can command the storm to stop! • When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and the raging waves. • He said… “Peace, be still!” • Suddenly the storm stopped and all was calm.

  5. Who IS this man?! • The disciples were terrified and amazed. “Who is this man?” they asked each other. • “When he gives a command, even the wind and waves obey him!”

  6. Jesus can still calm your storms today! • Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. • Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

  7. Give all your worries and cares to God, because he cares about you. -1 Peter 5:7
