We have the following apprentice positions available at our Slough location Power Systems Apprentice x 2 Power Systems from Finning set the standard for reliable and powerful performance and naturally the best equipment relies on the best engineers to keep them working at the peak of performance. This 4 year apprenticeship covers everything you need to know to develop a successful career, from the construction and design of basic diesel engines, fuel systems, basic hydraulics, electronic engine controls, applied failure analysis and electrical engineering skills for the maintenance and repair of electrical power generation equipment at a college based in the midlands. The programme is varied, offering block release plus on and off the job training with a service manager. It results in a modern apprenticeship certificate and includes Level 2 & 3 NVQ-Engineering maintenance; Key skills at Level 2 in Communication, I.T. Application of number and City and Guilds Level 2 & 3 in Electrical engineering technology.
