Results Overview

This report presents the results of gas leak tests conducted in the Department of Physics and Astronomy using a PicoLog ADC. The testing involved two different overpressures: +20mbar and +5mbar. Measurements were taken over 1000 seconds and 1800 seconds, respectively. The slope calculation yielded -0.0001 mbar/s, with a dispersion of points around the fit line at an RMS of approximately 0.01mbar. Our findings indicate that 17 out of 21 gaps studied exhibited a leak rate lower than 0.2 ± 0.01 mbar/10min, demonstrating effective gas seal integrity in the test samples.
