  2. Purpose The purpose of this training is to introduce or refresh the job roles of Analyst and MPRF’s of the 787 Material Management Organization and to develop a daily battle rhythm to ensure the proper daily tasks are being complete to ensure proper support to our customer.

Roles and Assignments • Analyst • Will identify all parts shortages for their assigned teams on daily basis. • Discuss daily with the Everett Supply Team for parts status and coordinate orders of parts shortages. • Will schedule when to bring KITS down to coincide with Operations Schedule and determine when to stage kits ship side. • Perform DRPT/EPD for all second issue parts as required. • Monitor and solve and issues from KITS queue, must monitor queue hourly. • Create standards order on a daily basis. • Attend daily boardwalks and be able to explain shortages and plans to expedite parts that do not meet operations needs. • Develop metrics that are updated weekly to be used in Standard Deck that is show to leadership team. • Use SAT board to ensure latest information is accurate and up to date with operations teams. • Discuss daily with operations analyst and team lead and concerns and support needed.

  5. Roles and Assignments MPRF’s Solve any issues as first line of communication with MT for Kit requests, hazmat issues, standards request, tapes or any other status needed. Utilize KITS system to Check In/Out kits to MT’s daily and ensure all procedures are followed per user guide. Review SRIT callboard though out the day to fill standards request. Conduct daily inventories with goal of 98% accuracy Operate daily shipping and receiving duties

  6. Training • Training module can be found Total Access Profile: • Check training weekly • Complete before due date to avoid being on “naughty list” • If you feel you don’t need a training or one was assigned in error please see your manager.

  7. eTRAC Shortages eTRAC is a web-based communication tool that provides shortage tracking capability, as well as providing data for business analysis and metrics. The intent of the system is to support today's business processes, and the future processes that will be developed in our rapidly changing business environment.   9. SAT Board • Shipside Action Tracker • Monitors Teams Constraints • Tracks time in individual queue • Allows communication from one team to another (ex IE, MMO, ME

SAT Board • SAT Quick Bits: • Monitor Board hourly • Respond To SATs quickly even if don’t have a resolution respond with In Work MMO • Provide accurate and correct completion dates • Notify managers and operations analyst with any slips in dates • Close out SATs when task is accomplished • Reject SAT if you feel no action required or more information is needed.

  11. Team Assignments • Each analyst will be given a team to support, you are responsible for : • provide up to date status on shortages • attend operations daily line by line to answer and questions for MMO • Updating SAT Board with most current information • Assignments may change with new additions or reductions of teams or employees.

  12. K.I.T.S. • KITS is our inventory system • Tracks inventory by location • Tracks who checked in/out kits • Correct information is key to keep integrity of KITS

  13. Metrics Daily, Weekly and Monthly metrics will be updated and created to display status of our department and to define opportunities of improvement and help needed.

  14. Standards SRIT This is how MT’s request there standards (hardware). SRITS have a fill time of 15 minuets, so we must keep an eye on SRIT board constantly. If any items in unavailable annotate in notes and analyst responsible for standards ordering will place order. Next Slide is example of how a proper SRIT should be filled out

  16. Consumables Consumables are located throughout the diamond of the aircraft, and overstock is stored in LRA (Local Receiving Area) and list of what's available is on MMO SharePoint site, consult with LRA staff if material is needed.

  18. Useful Shortcuts In work to add MMO most used links to program portal so we can have one local point of access as an entire program.

  19. Useful Procedures These are the most common used procedures that are used in MMO, keep these handy because you will be asked to find them during random audits.

  20. Daily Battle Rhythm This is a sample day for an analyst, these are the task that are to be done daily. Only a few have a time requirement, to be ready for boardwalks and meetings, but it is up to you how you want to spread your day as long as required tasks are being accomplished !!

  21. Weekly Battle Rhythm These are tasks that are not needed on a daily basis but need to be completed during the week, feel free to accomplish these tasks any time during work week.
