The Yale Healthcare & Life Sciences Club (YHLC) unites students interested in healthcare, biotechnology, and the pharmaceutical industry through networking, events, and support in career development. Formed from the merger of YPBS and the SOM Healthcare Club, YHLC hosts significant events like the Healthcare Conference, Pharmaceutical Case Competition, and various job treks. With a large alumni network and collaborative efforts with organizations like Yale Entrepreneurial Society and CURE, YHLC is dedicated to fostering engagement and growth in the life sciences field.

Pharmaceutical Case Competition • Teams of Yale undergraduate/ graduate/ professional students and post-doctoral fellows work together to solve a finance- and/or marketing-based pharmaceutical case • Present solution to a panel of academic and industry judges. • The winning team receives a prize at the dinner reception following the competition, during which all participants and judges relax, discuss the case, and network. • Nov 11 – 19 • Case Competition Chair: • John Nelson
