  2. THE MAN WHO BUILT THE MARS ROVER The man who built the first Mars Rover was Steve Squyres. Steve was born (January, 9, 1957). Steve was a Professor of Astronomy at Cornell University. The year 1977 Steve wanted to go to Mars. Steve wanted to study Mars’s geological past. Steve thought it could be the best discovery of all time. Steve put together a team engineers and scientists to build the “next best thing.” It took ten years and more than four thousand people who helped and worked together and finally built two robotic geologists to explore Mars. These vehicles look more like cars. These vehicles were called Mars Rovers. These vehicles would study water from history also climate and the geology from Mars, having a path for people who wanted to explore. The mission was called Follow the Water.

  4. Conclusion In conclusion, one fact I really want you toremember is that the Mars Rover helped Steve learn that rocks on Mars dated back 4.5 million years. I have told you all the information I know. I HOPE YOU LIKED IT!!
