Calibrations of the ladders ? • Before and after being assembled on a ladder, the modules are tested and characterized in terms of noise, dead channels and pedestal offset. • No systematic channel by channel calibration (for gain for example) is needed. • Low voltage settings • Hold signal (derived for the trigger) synchronization with the FFE shaping time • Pedestal runs needed to assert the SSD working parameters (need the STAR DAQ for a couple of weeks)
