  2. Why I Chose This I chose this animal because I thought it would be interesting to learn about it.

  3. Giant Panda’s Habitat and what do they eat? Giant Pandas live in cool forests and have thick furs to keep warm during the winters. Their natural habitat is mainly in the mountains of central China. Pandas mainly eat leaves, stems, and bamboo. They eat 12 – 38kg a day to meet their energy needs.

  4. What animals hunt Giant Pandas and what disease affect it? The Bengal Tigers and human poachers hunt the Giant Panda. There are a few diseases that affect the giant panda. They are respiratory diseases, Digestive System diseases, Nervous System diseases, and parasites.

  5. Effect of no Giant Pandas and the effect of it on the environment There will be a small effect to the environment. The Bengal Tiger will have a much smaller diet. Human Poachers won’t be able to make money off of pandas. The Giant Panda has small effect on the environment. The only effect is the bamboo.

  6. What is being done to protect the Giant Panda and what needs to be done? The Government is moving pandas into wildlife parks and zoos to keep the population up. I think the government should close off wildlife areas and reduce pollution around the area so the pandas don’t get sick.

  7. How Did Giant Panda Become Endangered There are a few reasons in which the panda became endangered: -Getting hunted -Habitat being destroyed -Pollution
