  3. Tail Twister’s Traditional role Tail Twister: The Tail Twister serves to promote harmony, good fellowship and enthusiasm at club meetings through the judicious imposition of fines on members. The Tail Twister may not be fined except by the unanimous vote of all members present. Any funds collected by the Tail Twister are immediately turned over to the treasurer. LCI Website

  4. Tail Twister’s Traditional role He/she promotes harmony, good fellowship, and enthusiasm in the meetings through appropriate stunts, games and the judicious imposition of fines on club members. There shall be no appeal of his/her decision in imposing a fine, provided, however, that no fine shall exceed an amount fixed by the board of directors of the club, and no member shall be fined more than twice at any one meeting…….   7. Tail Twister also fines for: • forgetting to address member as “Lion” • inappropriate language • inappropriate subjects • electronic devices making noise • having no Lions pin or badge

  8. Tail Twister fines …are a budget item, Your club does have an approved budget, yes ? goes into… general administration account or to a specific ear-marked expense Example; convention fund

  9. Tail Twister - are there rules? here are some guidelines: Keep it clean don’t harass or badger don’t over fine be sensitive of member’s culture, language and financial situations

  10. Tail Twister guidelines enlist the help of the Lion Tamer, Sergeant at Arms & Greeter if your club is large, consider having an assistant Tail Twister (This is great training for a new Lion)

  11. Tail Twister guidelines partner with your President to obtain their input on how your Tail Twisting will occur during your meetings Assist the Lion Tamer to be the time-keeper for others

  12. Tail Twister is it ok to fine visiting Lions? Yes it makes them feel welcome! What about guest speakers / non-Lions? Use discretion….
