Comenius Project 2011-2013. Kristvallabrunns school. We are in grade 4, 5 and 6. We are in grade 3. This is where we live. Kristvallabrunn. Kristvallabrunn is a small village just outside Nybro (10 km). Kalmar is only 25 kilometers away. There are 246 people in Kristvallabrunn.

Kristvallabrunn • Kristvallabrunn is a small village just outside Nybro (10 km). • Kalmar is only 25 kilometers away. • There are 246 people in Kristvallabrunn. • Kristvallabrunn used to have a famous spa 1700-1800. • People in Kristvallabrunn often work in Nybro or Kalmar. • Our pupils come from the village and farms near the village.

The Kingdom of Crystal • In the Kingdom of Crystal (Glasriket) handblown glass has been made since 1742. • Together with the glassblowers, designers continuously stretch the possibilities of glass, and many glassblowing techniques have been developed through experimentation in the Småland blowing rooms.

Kalmar is an old town by the Baltic Sea • Almost everywhere in central Kalmar, there are reminders of the importance Kalmar once possessed. • You can see it in the carefully renovated buildings and fortifications from the period when Sweden was a major power. • Many of the old buildings now host charming shops, restaurants and pubs.
