  3. Dr. Jasvant Modi is a retired gastroenterologist originally from Godhra, India, who received his medical degree from B.J. Medical College and completed his gastroenterology residency in Chicago, Illinois.

  4. Dr. Modi helped support the Tirthankar Shantinath Endowed Professorship in Jain Studies at Rice University, establishing a foundation for Jain studies and Jain thought leadership inside a world-leading American higher education environment.
