Recruitment Week(August 15-19) • Monday: Make an Invest “mint” in your future… Join FBLA (Mints) • Tuesday:Be a Star…Join FBLA (Starbursts) • Wednesday: Put Your Career on a Roll…Join FBLA(Tootsie Roll) • Thursday: Be Smart…Join FBLA (Smarties) • Friday: Breakfast Social @ Break (Biscuits to all members!)

  4. Meetings • We meet at least once per month • Meet during Freshmen Focus • Can be a member and an athlete or band member • Will activities interfere with the above? Some activities you might miss, but meetings are held during FF

  5. Community Service • Special Olympics • Bowling • Spring Games • Change for Champions • Toy drive • “Play with the Puppies” • March of Dimes • DFACS White Christmas • Internet Safety Seminar

  6. Field Trips • Boot Camp • Fall Leadership Conference • Region Conference • State Conference • Job Shadowing • Others????

  11. Last Year Our chapter received several awards last year at the state conference • Gold Chapter • Hollis and Kitty Guy Outstanding Chapter Award • Individual Honors • Over 30 members received BAA

  12. Final Thoughts. . . . FBLA is a great nationwide organization. The state of Georgia has more members than any other state! No matter what you are planning to do in the future, FBLA will provide you with some valuable information and experience that will help you in your future. See Mrs. Rogers or Mrs. Vandiver to join!!
