This project explores the evolution of course selection among Union College students from 2001 to 2012, focusing on whether students are adopting a more T-shaped educational profile, characterized by breadth across multiple disciplines. By analyzing data from 28,194 course roster pages and 4,113 students, the study assesses changes in the number of unique departments in students' transcripts. Various factors influencing educational breadth are examined, such as departmental offerings, major requirements, and total courses taken, revealing a notable increase in interdisciplinary studies.
