Mexico's IT industry, valued at $1.14 trillion in GDP, serves a population of 110 million. With over 400,000 students enrolled in IT programs and 65,000 graduates annually, the IT and ITES sectors generated $4.72 billion in 2007, employing over 226,000 people. A project, funded with $80 million, aims to improve job creation in Mexico's IT companies by enhancing their access to trained personnel, technologies, and financing. Ongoing efforts include training programs, IT parks, and legal frameworks to support growth.
