  1. HSCLWEBSITE REVIEW Special General Meeting Wednesday 4 November 2009

  2. Snail Race Nights • Look at  the official website for Fundeo Snail Racing TM  This an easy to use and highly successful entertainment and fundraising idea with thousands of successful events each year. • Fundeo Snail Race Nights come as DVD/VHS packs with all you need for your event and our talking parrot runs the show. • The Snail Race Nights are available in versions to suit all age groups and you can personalise a pack online in minutes. It couldn't be easier!

  3. Race Night? • A Race Night is a fun filled night of filmed horseracing.on either DVD, VHS video or 16mm cine film, where your audience can bet on which horse or horses. • Players choose the winning horse by purchasing a tote ticket. The price of the tote ticket is left to your discretion, usually 50p, but remember, the higher the tote ticket price, the bigger the payout on each race and of course, the more profit for you. . • We use the ‘tote system’ to calculate the winnings with a percentage retained for funds, and the remainder is paid out as winnings. • When all bets have been placed, the ‘tote’ is closed and a member of the audience is invited to select the race to be shown. • the film is shown and the horses race towards the finishing post. While the race is on, the amount to be paid out to winners, and the amount to be retained for funds, is calculated. • When all the winners have claimed their winnings, the tote is re-opened for the next race and the fun starts all over again.

  4. Pig Races - For A Different Racenight • New for 2009 digitally re- mastered pig races. We are delighted to announce some exclusive pig races for your racenight entertainment. • These hilarious little porkers even have little jockeys to keep them in check. Each pig is called by number and not by name which means that you can name the pigs anything you like in your race card.  We are the only UK company to supply live pig races like this. • Each pig race has a form guide which tells you a little bit of the recent form of the pig and give you a feel if you have invested your money wisely.  Press the form guide below to see an example of what the form guides look like. • Then it's onto the races and straight into the pig racing action!  We offer multiple camera angles so you get right in with the pigs and at the end of each race we have slow motion replay of the stages of the race so you can see exactly what happened to your investment!  To see an example of the actual race footage please press either of the pictures below.

  5. 100 Club • The idea is that members pay £5.00 per month, by Standing Order/Direct Debit, into a designated bank account. Prize draws will then take place on a monthly basis. • As an example, based on a fully subscribed 100 people signing up to the scheme, £6,000 per year will be raised.  40% of the yearly total will be paid out in prizes, with the remaining 60% retained by the Association. • Two prizes of £50 per month will be drawn, but twice per year, (June & December) a “star” draw of a £500 prize and a £200 prize will be drawn.  • All prize monies will be pro-rata to the number of members involved in the scheme, i.e. should we have 200 members, the prize monies mentioned will be doubled; if we have only 50 members, the prize monies will be halved.

  6. Football Fund Raising ScratchCards • Football fund raising cards where each has, say, 80 teams and winner is by a pull tape reveal or scratch over panel. • These are an ideal fund raising event for your pub / club • 80 spaces  x  20p    =   £16         £8          £8   x 30 = £240 (to club funds each season) • 80 spaces  x  50p    =   £40         £20        £20 x 30 = £600 • 80 spaces  x  £1      =   £80         £40        £40 x 30 = £1,200
