Synopsis – Chapter 16 • Every night henceforth, John has nightmares. • On January 18, John gets home from work and sees a not from Andrea saying she is going to Zsolt’s café with Kati. • John senses danger and knows that something terrible will happen. • He runs to the café. • There is an explosion from Gergelyutca and John runs into his doppelganger on the way to the café.

4. Synopsis – Chapter 17 • John arrives at the scene and is searching for his family. • The police and firemen forbid him from ever going into the site. • John was devastated and regret not telling Andrea about Janos Szabo. • He was certain that Andrea and Kati are gone.

Synopsis – Chapter 18 • John is walking aimlessly when he meets with his doppleganger. • He sees Andrea and Kati. • It appears that the doppelganger saved Andrea and Kati. • John learns that his doppelganger stopped Andrea and Kati from entering the café. • When Andrea heard the explosion, she comes round to see what happened. • The story ended with all three of them walking home.

He gestured for them to walk away from the café and so she did. Then, she heard the explosion. • The story ends happily with John being reunited with his wife and child.
