  5. A studio is a metaphor for an alternative to the traditional classroom; think TV studio, artist's studio, architect's studio, or music studio. A learning studio is intended to be a dynamic place that supports people engaged not only in delivering and receiving information, but also creating, collaborating, exchanging, researching, contemplating and renewing. The qualities of a learning studio support diverse learning and teaching styles. A studio is multipurpose and flexible by design.
