  1. Kappa Delta’s Shamrock By: Hana Lemoine

  2. What is SHAMROCK? • Each year, Kappa Delta puts together a flag football tournament to raise money for “Prevent Child Abuse America”, which is one of Kappa Delta’s biggest philanthropies. All proceeds from our tournament go toward this organization. This year, we raised over $10,000 and put in over 15 hours at the tournament itself.

  3. Preparing for Shamrock! • A lot of hard work went into preparing for this year’s Shamrock! We painted a lot of sheet signs and hung them around campus to inform everyone of the date.

  4. Shamrock Begins…7:00 a.m. • Everyone met at North Campus at 7:00 in the morning to start setting up for the tournament. We had 3 fields that were going to be played on!

  5. Setting up! • Everything had to be on point including the game brackets and the referees!

  6. Sham-ROCKIN’! • Our whole sorority showed for the tournament to cheer on all of the teams, including our own!

  7. Having fun at KD’s Shamrock!

  8. Teams come from all over to support! • Teams came from all over Georgia to play in the tournament! We had 26 teams, both boys and girls, playing in the games!

  9. Me and the “Weekend Warriors”

  10. Fans Come Out to Support!! • So many people came out to support Shamrock, they even brought their dogs! This made the 15 hour experience so much more enjoyable!

  11. Get Your T-Shirts! We also sold T-shirts to raise even more money! We sold a lot, which really helped us out!

  12. I Love Shamrock! • Shamrock, although long, ended up being a really fun and rewarding experience! Knowing that all the money we raised went to help children is all well worth it!
