1. Home Henry VIII WIVES Wife 1 Henry VIII became king of England in 1509 and had six wives. He also wanted a son so he could be next in line for the throne. 2. Home Wife 1 Catherine of Aragon Catherine of Aragon was Henry’s first wife and was Henry’s brother Arthur’s wife before. When they got married Henry was 12 and she was 17!! She always had a baby girl she had at least 8 of them so Henry divorced her. DIVORCED

3. Home Wife 2 Anne Boleyn Anne Boleyn was a beautiful and kind girl even she had a baby but she got executed. Before she got executed she was in the Tower of London writing a letter to Henry trying to prove her innocence and begging Henry not to get her executed. But he got fed up. He didn’t care and played tennis while he had her executed she was executed on 15 May 1536 and buried on the same day. BEHEADED

4. Wife 3 Home Jane Seymour Jane Seymour was a shy girl. Henry loved Jane the most out of all of his wives and she had a boy called Edward. Sadly she died 12 days after marriage and Henry said “I will wait 2 years after marrying again.” DIED

5. Wife 4 Home Anne of Cleves Anne of Cleves was quite mean to Henry sometimes and the first time they met she called him a horse and Henry stormed out saying “I LIKE THIS GIRL NOT!” After 6 months of marriage Henry divorced her. DIVORCED

6. Home Wife 5 Kathryn Howard Kathryn Howard was a teenager when she was married to Henry and he was 49!! Kathryn married Henry on 28 July 1540. However, she was beheaded than less than two years of marriage. BEHEADED

7. Wife 6 Home Kathryn Parr Kathryn Parr didn’t love Henry she loved Thomas Seymour (Jane Seymour’s brother). Instead of blurting it out to Henry, she kept it as a secret but Henry died soon while still married to her. So, she quickly married Thomas Seymour and even she died while married to him. SURVIVED!
