  1. Goals Form a project in order to act coherently both intellectually and in efforts to ensure adequate funding for R&D and later construction Practical steps: 1. Each project formulates - anticipated contribution to the CBM construction (must be supported by the management of corresponding russian institution/institutions) - necessary R&D studies to be done in 2005(2006) - estimate of funding required for R&D - ideas (if any: like ISTC, INTAS, RFFI etc…) how to get it

  2. 2. Write a common proposal to be presented for consideration • at the russian agencies, and CBM, and FAIR management • Ratify this document at the next meeting of Russian groups • (in about 1 month from today) • 4. Elect a coordinator of russian groups in CBM
