  2. On June 6, 2013 Governor Shumlin signed Flexible Pathways bill (S.130/Act77): • Expand: HS/College Dual Enrollment (ex. VT--NY) • VT: 2 free courses prior to graduation • Expand: Early College Programs (ex. VAST) • Increase access: work-based learning (ex. CBL) • Increase: virtual/blended learning opportunities • Increase access: Career &Technical Education • Implement: Personalized Learning Plans (PLPs)

  3. Personal Learning Plans (PLPs) • Every student grades 7-12 have personalized learning planning: • (Required Nov. 2015 for 7th/9th and Dual Enrolled) • identify emerging abilities, disposition, etc.; • includes participation by engaged adults; • guides decisions… course offerings, and other high-quality educational experiences.
